Ugh.

It's funny how many people in Florida quickly become armchair meteorologists. Quite a few folks in this state seem to understand the concepts of shearing, eye wall, fronts, ridging, troughs, etc.. I guess when you're faced with huge storms that can at worst kill you and at the very best give you a
really bad day, it's in your best interest to learn how they function and what other weather systems can weaken or strengthen them.
