For the most part we can ACTUALLY SEE all the weather that you call out and I can fly around the rain and actually stay VFR. Don't wanna do that again if I don't have to. Feel free to email me and I will be happy to explain. The Flying 35https://www.blogger.com/profile/03650909390526325966noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35762982.post-51780954953558258452008-09-26T00:38:00.000-04:002008-09-26T00:38:00.000-04:00You work at Pensacola huh? How do you like working with Eglin? Sometimes...those guys are just outta hand in my opinion...but thats just me. Take care buddy, maybe i'll hit you up on the Pensacola Shout...i dont think i have ever used that line the entire four years i've been a controller lolSergeantPotatohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06166901262049330642noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35762982.post-47918227375237948432008-09-20T21:34:00.000-04:002008-09-20T21:34:00.000-04:00Boy, I sure hope 'Bob' reads your blog. Maybe you or someone else could print out a copy and post it at the FBO (or tape it on his hangar) -- maybe he'll 'get the flick' on what a wanker he's being. Great Blog, BTW - good luck with your training! and btw - learning not to be misled by pilots is something we ALL learn, sooner or later! --BigALAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35762982.post-39826584230545061202008-09-20T17:55:00.000-04:002008-09-20T17:55:00.000-04:00Don't worry, "Bob/Danny" will probably kill himsel...Don't worry, "Bob/Danny" will probably kill himself and more than likely some innocent others.

32 years dealing with pompous neophytes taught me that most of them eventually kill themselves.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35762982.post-16990197645320005952008-09-18T07:41:00.000-04:002008-09-18T07:41:00.000-04:00Hi Ryan! How would *he* like his Falcon to be delayed by someone in a little experimental requesting an opp-direction landing.

I'm doing fine. Just plugging away at the training, still trying to get the feel for the second bank of scopes. Traffic on ATCHours has definitely picked up. I'm getting sign-ups from all over the place.Mark Rossmorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04357616311224328501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35762982.post-56646722414058541762008-09-15T21:29:00.000-04:002008-09-15T21:29:00.000-04:00love your post wicked. we have a "bob" here at MA...love your post wicked. we have a "bob" here at MAF too - although our "bob" is actually "danny". his day job is flying a FA50 out of MAF but in his spare time he likes to fly a tiny little experimental acrobatic plane - but he thinks he is still in the falcon. he keeps it parked at a small uncontrolled field off of the departure end of one of our long runways. he loves to pop up VFR right in the departure path and request to land opposite direction...

how are you? are you getting much business on your dev hours tracking website?

r9sAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35762982.post-31745208683404260492008-09-15T10:11:00.000-04:002008-09-15T10:11:00.000-04:00Did the G4 pilot send him a gas bill for the go-ar...Did the G4 pilot send him a gas bill for the go-around?Mark Rossmorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04357616311224328501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35762982.post-20614138189183117652008-09-15T02:22:00.000-04:002008-09-15T02:22:00.000-04:00I hate pilots like "Bob." Let's just say the trainee learned a very important lesson the hard way.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13584511461315098853noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35762982.post-12349158660059538812008-09-13T22:16:00.000-04:002008-09-13T22:16:00.000-04:00Very entertaining and informative post.
